Holiday Home Tour
Rather than going for something traditional, we opted for a bright floral tree. We used a variation of pink, purple, red and gold ornaments in shiny, matte and glitter finishes. We purchased our faux flowers (peonies, hibiscus, lillies, etc.) at Michael's Craft Store. The ornaments and flowers spiral around the white tree (found at Target!). While we love getting into the holiday spirit, we prefer sunshine, so this tree is a fun way to keep things bright and cheery and seasonally appropriate.
This red and white kitchen towel adds a cute, festive touch! This copper side table from Target reflects the light from the tree and brings a richness to the bright color scheme.
The mocktail pictured here is simply frozen raspberries with sparking apple cranberry juice, but could easily be livened up with a splash of vodka!
We're suckers for gold polka dots! The feathers stuck with the gold theme but added a little depth under the tree. This sheepskin throw is no longer available, but a similar option can be found here: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30229077/
Last but not least, our festive pup! For those who don't know, Hartley Social shares a name with Hartley the dog. She's deep in thought about the meaning of Christmas (or staring at a piece of ham- you decide).
Thanks for stopping by the Hartley Social HQ! Each blog post in the Holiday Home Tour will bring you to the next stop, so be sure to visit Kindly Kentucky next! Happy Holidays!
