Q: What is your favorite thing about Atlanta?
A: I love how diverse the city is; it has so much to offer! There's always something to do and there's literally something for everyone. It's amazing and I love it! I also am a huge fan of how forested it is. I love a little bit of nature and I can get the best of both worlds living in a huge city that still has beautiful parks and scenery!
Q: How did you develop an interest in digital marketing?
A: I started to get in to digital marketing after I started working with PINK while I was in college! I posted on Instagram for the brand and started to realize how much I loved creating a good aesthetic and using my creativity digitally!
Q: What is one easy way women can support other women in the business world?
A: It's really simple, just show your support. If you have an encouraging thought or comment about another women or their business, pay them that compliment! You never know how far a simple compliment can go and what kind of relationship and friendship it can form. By being honest and encouraging we can help each other succeed even more!
Q: Tupac or Biggie?
A: Oh gosh, so tough- I love the west coast but I have to say I love Biggie's music more!
Q: Ice cream or froyo?
A: Ice cream all day!
Q: What is one brand you really admire and why?
A: I really admire Glossier- they have their shit together. They keep their products cruelty free and natural, they're all about being your natural, best self, AND their Instagram is amazing and filled with awesome girl power posts and an incredible aesthetic!
Q: What is your favorite social media platform and why?
A: Instagram for sure; I'm so visual and I just love seeing what creative things people can do through this platform!
Q: Are you more likely to patronize a business with a digital presence, and why?
A: I definitely am. Especially since moving to a new city, I use social media (mainly Instagram) so find new restaurants, stores, and things to do around town- it's quick, easy, and I can see their engagement and popularity easier!
Q: Who inspires you and why?
A: This is broad (it's really hard to narrow it down) but all of the amazing women who are CEOs, stand up for themselves, and who are unashamed to mix creativity with business. Since I am very focused in fashion, I think that so many women are all just assumed to be aspiring "designers" in the industry. What inspires me is all of the women who are business savvy, statistical, think smart and work hard to produce amazing, creative businesses in fashion- beyond the stereotypes! Especially the women who have created their own brands and, from there, have decided to encourage and help other women become leaders in the industry as well.
Q: What fictional character are you most like?
A: Hmm, I've been watching Gilmore Girls a lot lately, and I find myself acting similarly to Loralei- kinda cool, fashionable, always a little awkward and outspoken. I can also be a bit of a Leslie Knope sometimes too (i'm such a busy body)!
Q: What song is the soundtrack to your life?
A: So tough- but I think the most spot on songs would be Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac and Blessings by Chance the Rapper.
Q: Are you a morning person or a night owl?
A: Definitely a morning person; I'd much rather get up early and get things done.
Q: What's your "go-to" when you need to get shit done?
A: Dirty Chai Tea Latte with w/ almond milk (2 shots of espresso).
Q: What's your favorite book for an aspiring girl boss?
A: Oh my gosh, I read "Leave Your Mark" by Aliza Light my junior year of college and it made me want to go out and get shit done and be a boss.
Q: If you won the lottery, what would be your first move?
A: Trip to Greece and a loft in Midtown, Atlanta!
